Successfully activated your Tulip Mobile SIM? Navigate your settings and follow the guided prompts below to complete your phone set up:
Check your device’s software version before continuing. To see which iOS version is currently running on your phone, go to Settings > General > Software Update.
For iPhones on software version iOS 13 or higher:
Congrats! Your device comes with Tulip Mobile’s settings pre-installed. Please ensure that Cellular Data is enabled through your device’s Settings.
For iPhones on software version iOS 12:
You may receive a notification from Apple to update carrier settings upon installing your SIM card. This is a required update to configure your device to your new SIM card. If you do not receive a notification:
- Go to Settings
- Select General
- Click on About
- Select “Carrier Update” when prompted
Please ensure that both cellular data and LTE are enabled to begin using data and picture messaging.
Need to check if your cellular data and/or LTE are turned on? Go to Settings > Cellular to see if your Cellular Data is toggled green. Click on Cellular Data Options to ensure LTE is enabled.
For iPhones on iOS software lower than 12.0:
You are required to update your Cellular Data options by entering in the values below. To update your Cellular Data:
- Select the Settings icon on your home screen.
- Select the Cellular menu option in the first section of your screen.
- Ensure your data is turned on by going to Settings > Cellular. Cellular Data will be toggled green.
- Click on Cellular Data Options to ensure LTE is enabled.
- Select the Cellular Data Options and enter the following information:
Underneath ‘Cellular Data‘

Username: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Underneath ‘LTE Setup’ (optional)
APN: (leave blank)
Username: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Underneath ‘MMS’
APN: service
Username: (leave blank)

Once the required fields are filled out, be sure to save and restart your iPhone.
